Somehow, as I stumbled through the log in process, I created my own Blogger blog. I'm going to try and incorporate it into my new eCommerce site, SoCalChildcare.com.
I already have a personal blog, and I welcome any and all readers and comments - especially book recommendations! Looking forward to sharing our eCommerce struggles and triumphs here with you!

Abi,
Checked out your homepage for SoCalChildcare.com. Very cheerful in the spirit of childcare. I like it. Also skimmed through your personal blog and noticed you are the book fanatic. May I recommend Drift, by Jim Miller. He is a local San Diego author who teaches at City College.
You have also inspired me to start getting my sites up and running. I sure do appreciate the inspiration.

Ali, thanks for the participation and link on your blog! A couple books I recently read are Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Thomas Friedman's, The World is Flat. Both great reads for different reasons. Love in the Time of Cholera is being made into a movie by the director of the las Harry Potter movie.
Your site looks wonderful so far. You can incorporate a blog into your page instead of sending people to separate site.
Why are there some thing white lines about the cartoon of the child?
There are some annoying white lines along the top of my image. I noticed them at 1 am when I finally got the site posted. It has to do with bad cropping technique, and I didn't have the energy to reopen Photoshop to fix it. That image is also supposed to have a "wet floor" reflection, but it wasn't lining up right. But it'll get there. Thanks for checking it out - and thanks for the book recommendations.
I plan to link this blog into my site. I didn't have the ftp info when I set it up, but I'm pretty sure I can move it later.
