Throughout the class we have been talking about every aspect of creating an e-business, even some students have started / opened an e-business, but we have not discuss the insurance aspect of doing business. Americans love to sue over anything, which means if you get sued, and you are not insured, and you are any other entity other than a “C” Corporation you could lose all your assets (everything). I think insurance should also be a top priority before you open for business. Maybe Don could give us more insight on this subject, and the different types of insurance options.

Great question. This is not my area of expertise, but I've sent an inquiry to someone who can provide the information. As soon as I have it, I'll pass it along. d
And what about a lawyer, tax accountant or any other legal issue.
I have already mentioned the idea to form a group and discuss this kind of matters in a formal way.
I quote from the class book
"founders meet on a regular basis to discuss issues related to running their business. At these meetings, no topic-from pricing to profit margins-is off limits....members also share practical expertise and access to contacts, sell or barter products and services among themselves, and even borrow equipment from other members when necessary" (from the book creating a winning e-business Nappier et al., 2nd edition, 2006)

This blog seems like a good place for that, right? Great question Alonzo, I was wondering about insurance myself. It was one of the first things the SCORE counselors recommended.
